The solution to in building cell reception is NOT 5G.
Cities around the country are finally seeing cellular carriers deploy 5g as the next big hype in cellular performance. Known for speed and power, 5G has been framed as the future solution to all our cellular problems. What the carriers won’t tell you, is that 5G actually performs worse than the current 4g LTE solution when it comes to inside of buildings. The biggest myth about this newest technology is the term “more powerful” which may be true when it comes to speed, but in fact it has a weaker “signal strength” than today's technology.
This “signal strength” issue is directly seen when the strength of the signal is attempted to be utilized inside of a building. You will find areas in your building that had excellent signal strength with 4G LTE, but now you have dead spots with 5G.
As building developers continue to expand, there are a substantial increase in companies around the world that are realizing a need for in-building signal enhancement. According to disruptive technology, the only pure use case for cellular 5G, are companies who can afford to put in private signal enhancement systems. Otherwise, 5G will not be applicable to solve in-building problems.
You have two options to solve this 5G penetration issue inside your building.
Instal a DAS System. A DAS System will be close to double the cost and take an exceptionally long time to deploy and bring to full operation.
A DAS System requires running cables from each cell signal carrier’s broadcast tower to your property.
This requires coordination of a number of different parties to accomplish before you can even start tunneling and running cable.
Bad Cell Reception’s custom cell signal enhancement system.
We snatch any carriers cell signal from the air outside of your building through an antenna array on your roof. Pipe that signal through your building to an on site signal strength enhancement processor unit and re-broadcast that signal inside the building walls. The signal transmitted back from a user’s cell device inside your building, travels through the system in reverse and is broadcasted back outside to its respective cell carriers towers.
Our system works with both 4G LTE and 5G.
